Pathology is the study and diagnosis of disease through examination of organs, tissues, body fluids and blood, which seeks to understand the mechanisms of injury to cells and tissues, as well as the body's means of responding to and repairing injury. Pathology also review results of tests ordered or per-formed by specialists, such as blood tests, a biopsy of a lesion removed or a Pap test to detect abnormalities.
Biochemistry also called as biological chemistry (living things). Biochemistry is a branch of science concerned with the chemical and physio-chemical processes that occurs within living organisms. Biochemistry is the study of chemical processes within and relating to living organisms in the blood by controlling information flow through biochemical signalling and the flow of chemical energy through metabolism, biochemical processes give rise to the complexity of life. Biochemistry deals with the chemical compounds and processes occurring in organisms and the chemical characteristics and reactions of a particular living organism or biological substance. At our Advanced Laboratory we measures the presence or concentration of macromolecure or a small Molecule in a solution through the use of an antibody(usually) or an antigen (sometimes). The molecule detected by the immunoassay is often referred to as on “analyte” and is in many cases a protein, although it may be other kinds of molecules, of different sizes and types, as long as the proper antibodies that have the adequate properties for the assay are developed. Analytes in biological liquids such as serum are frequently measured using immunoassays for medical and research purposes.

Reflectance spectrophotometry measures the reflectance of materials.
